Libya: the war to pay off creditors

Like a dog called to attack, the US was ordered to go attack Libya - and has done so. Somehow we went from happy partnership with Libya and PRAISING them [no, not years ago, but LAST SUMMER, June 2010]: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/libya/19452/public/TP%20-%20Carnegie%20Foundation%20100604.pdf
... to bombing them. Same Libyans - attacking the same terrorists who are now being painted as 'freedom fighters'.

What changed? Gadhafi threatened BP's control of oil exploitation:

And BP + NATO wants to push China's competition out of the oil biz in Libya:

And while Libya was shooting armed guys shooting back at them, the Saudi government AND the kingdom of Bahrain have been shooting unarmed, peaceful protesters - and wanted to NOT be in the news about it.

Thus the order for the US to attack Libya. It helps BP, makes NATO happy - and draws away international attention from Saudi and Bahrain atrocities.
