Back at the Cave

Hurray! Back safe at the cave! Managed the drive to Victor-Cow's for his New Year's Eve party thru rain and fog and heavy winds - and had a -wonderful- time at the party. Yay! Enjoyed going out to IHoP for breakie the next day with a mob of chums.

The drive back home was also difficult with gale force winds wanting to push the Prius around. Managed to wrestle Comet home safely. I unpacked and spent the day 'tidying' up so there wasn't a humungous pile of stuff just sitting there.

Then I got on the 'net, caught up with web-comics, got my email [which I am -still- replying to] and read LJs to see how the rest of the world has been going. Now it's off for BASFA!

hey lady, I was gonna comment and see if'n you wanted to add me, but there you were!

:)~

thanks again for curing the tension headache of feeling ill...as before mentioned not only did it work, but I was too afraid to move after in case it ruined it!! I was thinking I would have liked to slowly crumple to the floor in a soft heap, but decided to remain sitting on the ice chest til I could walk to the floor in an out of the way spot!

anyways, we must kareoke again (sans feedback) it was fun!

[nods] Yup - I went and looked for you in Matt's friend's list - then added you ASAP.

You were FUN! The karaoke was a blast [even with the feedback] - so I hope we can do that again.

And I'm glad I was able to help your achy head. I was worried 'bout you [looks at you with BIG worried eyes], so helping was good.

ya know...the one line of SWAlabama was the only time I actually used the mike if I remember....or was it?? I think it was! I think all the rest of my singing was from the couch. I like to sing loudly, it feels good to my body, I like to belt it out....maybe I'm too loud?!!

:)~

Not too loud. IMHO you are just right. I -so- wish that some of the others would've chosen -not- to use the mike. If you've got good 'pipes' I love you - but don't use a mike [unless it's a soft, slow song].
