Fooling around
Mar. 23rd, 2005 05:30 pmWent along with a suggestion from one of the con-exec guys and tried to find a veriant of 'melchar' that I could use for AIM. Discovered that using me1char [with a numerical '1' used in place of the character 'l'] works. Yippee! At least this way people will more tend to recognize me. Nobody really knew what a 'ranthalling' was. [Well, except for me, Trey and some of those who play Space Opera.]
Have been working on writing today and listening to news. For once the news has not been utterly despressing and there have been some glimmers of hope. Found myself giggling that members of Congress could get so bent out of shape when first one Federal judge, then a 3-member appeals panel then the _whole_ appeals panel refused to toe the line and do what they were told [by Congress]. Goshies, what was Congress thinking? (Or failing to think.)
