Reading...
Apr. 20th, 2005 04:23 pmJust read Laumer's 'A Plague of Demons' for the first time yesterday. It's not his best work but the book was quite fun to read and still holds up remarkably well [considering it was written in 1965, this is pretty durned good]. And then moved right into reading Clement's 'Cycle of Fire [also for the first time] - and am enjoying that, too. [halfway thru it]
In 'Planescape: Torment' last night, I got into the Modron Maze and managed to find the control room, set the dungeon for 'hard' and have found and recruited Nordom for the party. Not sure if I'll keep him after the Maze, because he's not that impressive of a fighter, but the 36,000 XP for recruiting him [and other XP for upgrading him] is worth the trouble. Next to find the 'evil mage' in the dungeon.
