Hope some of you see this
Jun. 18th, 2005 12:41 amThe fact most important in this post is that the Sunday game is now cancelled. Father's Day has turned out to be a more important factor in many lives that was otherwise initially supposed and too many player's lives are impacted by it. Sorry! [Plus I'm worried about Victor having to drive so far when he's recovering from the flu.] This means that the next Agris game is likely to be held on July 17 [because of our trip down south].
I will call all of the players to make sure everyone knows this. Again sorry, but it looks like the game wouldn't have started till 3pm at the earliest and I had one request not to do the party loot split until she got there, which was a fair request.
Other matters: saw 'Batman Begins' and was very pleasantly surprised by it. Even though it had some parts that annoyed me a lot, it had enough truly enjoyable bits to make me like it almost as much as the Keaton/Nicholson 'Batman' [which says a lot, IMHO]. Worth seeing more than once.
After the movie, went to Flames and had a disappointing mushroom burger. Asked for it as meat, 'shrooms, bun, cheese and it came with peppers added. Ugh. Only able to eat half, even having picked out the peppers. [My system does not care for peppers or chiles.] Had a few sips of Trey's chocolate malt and that very very nice, though I managed to drag my sleeve in it. [grumbles about entropy, clumsiness and chocolate stains]
