Please - no more travel!
Aug. 4th, 2005 06:33 pmOkay, have been there and back again for the 2nd time in a month. Yeesh! Gone for half the month and pretty much out of touch for much of it.
_Really_ missed live gaming [having been only able to play or ref live 4 times in July. Yay that both days of this weekend will be gaming ones [Dragonstorm & the TOM game]. Hope my characters don't get killed. ^_^
The drives were good, with not too hideous traffic for the 400 miles-each-way commute to So.Calif and it was blessedly COOL there. Away from Bay Area temps of 80-90+ I think there was one day where it got to 85, but most days it was in the 70s. [sighs] Plus it was nice spending time with family. Had a LOT of fun at the Dodgers/Cardinals game [which went into extra innings as many of the live games we've attended have so done] - and the Dodgers lost. [evil grin]
Spent a lot of time doing laundry/clean up/catching up with mail & email yesterday & today. Thankfully THAT is all mostly done now, too. Caught up on all the webcomics I follow and finally read LJ. So I feel accomplished.
Now just to stay HOME for a while and enjoy 'ye olde cave'.
