Random ramblings

Managed to write enough to fill SiWire - but I really wish that the other reporter had shown up and contributed copy - and that Paul had used a larger type size for the newsletter. Had this been done there wouldn't have been so much anxiety on his part about needing more copy to fill the thing.
Went to Nye's place last night for the writer's group. She has a gorgeous house - but it sure is out in the wilderlands [near Salinas]. Dawn drove quite well there and back [being very nice / giving me a ride there]. I don't trust many people's driving ability, but now I can add Dawn to the 'trusted' list [along with Trey & Elizabeth].
Elizabeth is slogging on with filling out the wiki forms for FC. Gosh she's a delight to work with!
And the kitty is healthy and has lost enough weight that the vet wants her to gain half a pound back. Dusty will be happy with this.
I also want to play FF7 again, having seen 'Advent Children' [wonderful, gorgeous movie!]. But I'm on my 3rd purchased copy of the game! Every play-thru tends to kill 1+ of the new game disks. What I'd -like- is for Square to reissue FF7 on a more sturdy disk at the very least. I'd love for it to be ported to PSP. And would BUY the PS3 if they remastered FF7 with updated graphics! [sighs]
