Turkey prep
Nov. 22nd, 2006 10:26 pm*Plop* goes the turkey into the ginormous pot I'm using to brine the bird. I managed to find room for the hugely heavy pot in the bottom of the 'fridge, so the bird can brine until tomorrow - when it becomes d'object d'feast. ^_^
I've tried several ways to prepare a turkey and IMO brining is the best and results in a flavorful moist bird that doesn't need to be basted during baking.
Can't wait for tomorrow!
