Many fall but one remains
May. 16th, 2007 01:58 pmMuch progress on the Morrowind front. I'm the last boss fight [must be done several times, I hear] from beating the game. Have become leader of the Mage and Fighter guilds. The only reason I didn't do the same for the assassin guild was then I could do 'missions' any more. ^_^ My guy is acknowledged 'hortator' [now doesn't that sould like a street-walking potato?] - Neverine - and champion of the temple. It's been lots of fun.
IMO 'Morrowind' may be the perfect 1-person [with no NPC companions] game. I really like the stats/skills system; the encumbrance makes sense and I love the inventory and spell systems. The world is pretty darned large, there aren't walls to funnel you from place to place. There are a few too many fetch/carry quests - and some of the quests are infuriating. [I have the item right here, see? But I didn't go to town 'b' so it doesn't count yet! Thankfully this happens less than 1/3 of the time.]
