Oct. 14th, 2009 09:08 pmSTILL getting over the sore throat/cold thingie from 2 weeks ago. Still a bit fevery and congested, but I can talk and referee, so that's good enough. However, my body decided on a new trick Sunday night. I reffed Sunday [lots of writing], then played some City of Heroes, a bit of Imagine and I'm guessing I slept improperly on my left hand. Woke up Monday with a VERY painful left hand. Very!
Thought-imparingly painful: reflexively used the left hand a few times - didn't think to take ibuprophen. I finally ace-bandaged the hand to keep myself from using it/moving it. Took ibuprophen for the swelling. Didn't go to BASFA. Lather/rinse/repeat for Tuesday. Woke up today and the pain has ebbed a great deal. Still keeping the hand wrapped and hoping this isn't the start of carpal tunnel syndrome.
