Thinking gamer thoughts
Sep. 24th, 2010 07:57 pmSaw 'Resident Evil 4'. Much of it was entertaining, but there were some bits that didn't work for me. [Mainly involving the Umbrella Corporation.] But it did make me think about zombies.
So what factor attracts zombies? If zombies went after anything that moved, then there would be isolated fat zombies and nothing else nearby them. So simple motion isn't it.
Do the living emit unique scents, or is it the zombies that do? It doesn't seem to be just blood [because otherwise zombies engaged in tearing living people apart would go after each other when they are drenched with fresh blood]. It doesn't seem to be zombie scent either, because as folks mow down zombies and get covered in zombie gore, the zombies still active around them don't lose interest.
