Nov. 14th, 2011 03:47 pmMy b-day prezzie was a little delayed [since Skyrim was not in store till the 11th] - but it is now in my eager hands. Both characters I gen'd have been female. Tried a wood elf [why are the elves so ugly? - heck the kitty-race is lovely by comparison] - and then settled on a cute, blond Imperial gal.
Skyrim is GORGEOUS! I stood, entranced, and watched the water flow past the bridge I was on. I waded out into that river and caught -fish-! I have NOT carried 270 lbs of brooms around ['Penny Arcade' ref], but I have exceeded carry cap as I drag things off to sell them. The 1st wolf that bit my gal gave her a disease [that 2 game days later is still afflicting her - because I can't afford the 'cure disease' potion]. I have made leather out of a wolf pelt; upgraded a sword, forged a dagger, improved armor and cooked. I am having so darned much fun!
