2020 is being infuriating

IS ANYONE PAYING ATTENTION?

Apparently not. Personal ambition & pride are driving the Democrats to LOSE the 2020 presidential election - again. Ignoring the voters AND history are a bad combination.

1940 Presidential election won by Roosevelt [qualifications = incumbent, originally Governor of NY]
1944 Presidential election won by Roosevelt [qualifications = incumbent]
1945 VP Truman becomes president due to Roosevelt's death in office
1948 Presidential election won by Truman [qualifications = incumbent]
1952 Presidential election won by Eisenhower [qualifications = war hero, celebrity]
1956 Presidential election won by Eisenhower [qualifications = incumbent]
1960 Presidential election won by Kennedy [qualifications = very young senator, not yet seen as corrupt]
1963 VP Johnson becomes president due to Kennedy's death in office
1964 Presidential election won by Johnson [qualifications = incumbent]

As demonstrated by history [giving only last 80 years] - the voting public votes for EITHER the incumbent OR for a state Governor EVERY TIME. The 4 exceptions to this in -23- elections were either for a celebrity OR for a junior senator who is not yet see to be corrupted by Washington DC political hacks.

NOW LOOK AT THE DEMOCRATIC SLATE being offered. Billionaire Bloomberg is trying to buy the election. The senators are old enough to be growing moss from their ears. Mayor Pete young, vital, gay & has an impossible last name. Biden is an ex-VP, but is also ancient, out-of-touch & showing signs of senility - and is the only one of the lot with a faint chance of winning.

To actually win, the Dems should offer a Democratic Governor as a candidate. Ideally, the Governor would be on the younger side & photogenic. To that end - of the 18 Dem governors - 5 would fit that mold:
California governor, Gavin Newsom
Kentucky governor, Andy Beshear
Michigan governor, Gretchen Whitmer
Montana governor, Steve Bullock
New York governor, Andrew Cuomo
