Voting

So the primary is tomorrow, on 6-6-06, so people will obviously be choosing the greater of two evils. ^_^ The Democrats on on their way to nominating the homely guy who will lose to the Terminator. [If Wesley won the nom' I'd vote for him and would have a chance. But picking the tax-n-spender with the funny name will keep the Demo's from the governorship again. Sigh.]

Just on general principles, I'm against all the propositions [except the one to help libraries]. The pre-school one is a train-wreck that I fear will pass - sending billions into a NEW bureauocracy of endless waste and no real imrpvement. [another sigh]

Ah well, I hope folks vote anyway.

Angelides isn't a bad candidate, he's just one who won't win against Arnold (and Wesley wouldn't have a much better chance honestly)
THe Pre-School thing will either come very close to passing or fail gloriously. The support numbers were pretty much dead even (48-49 in favour) and that was before the majour blitz last week.

As teh son of a librarian, I'm all for the Libraries one, but that's the only one I'm a fan of.

And remember...Me for Mayor!

Finding a new polling place is a good reason to register as permanent absentee. Then the ballot is delivered to you and you can vote at your leisure. [Having worked the polls, it's what I do.]

We got a new polling place because, well there was NO Parking available at the old one (a fire station). It should be easy to find. It's the Rec Room of the new condo complex built near the MidTown Safeway, where the Saddle Rack used to be.

Probably try to sell us condos when we go to vote.

Yeah, I'd liked to see Wesley win the Demo nomination. Angelides will just be twined to Grey Davis and that will be that. "He has No Chin." Ivanova was right. I don't like No Chins either.

Some times I think the Democratic Party just likes to shot itself in the foot.

Sorry Chris I live in the County. No mayors on my ballot.

I want to vote on a secured site on my computer. Then mail the printed affidavit for a manual count if needed.
