I suppose one can be too compulsive. The trees have been spewing vast quantities of pollen for months now. There were 1-2 inch deep drifts of pollen on the front porch after the weekend's wind. So I went out and swept the porch, railings, the stairs, walls - even the overhanging tree leaves - and it's cleaned off there right now.

...then I went inside, washed off, took my allergy meds and still have a sinus headache... Good yeesh the pollen is bad!

Did you wear a mask while cleaning up?

What? Me actually think ahead? Use wisdom?

Nope - not me. In fact, I didn't even think to use a mask [and I have hepa-dust-masks] until I had taken my clothes off and was shaking them out.

...and just to add to the stupid, I then put the clothes back on 'til Trey got home and suggested that I bag them/change because I was making HIS eyes water just from being close to me. [shakes head, looks for a WISDOM modifier].

*snickers* You better believe it! And this year has been so very, VERY bad. I mean, -inches- of the stuff piled up, like drifts of snow. [shakes head!]

Uggghhhh... Hates pollen, we does. I've been waking up with a throat full of gunk, every morning, lately. And eyes full of gunk, too. It's disgusting. Bleah. I wish for it to all go away!! Or, rather, for our allergies to it all to go away, because the world needs its pollen, even though we don't. ;P

I so very much concur. Although it is very . . . nice of the plants to want me 'that way', I'm just not into getting pollenated. Ugh!
