That sounds more exciting than what I've been on [a 'deep pockets' insurance scam attempt] and the jury selections I've been selected out from.
If they let us [or more to the point -me-] bring in books and or games to amuse self through the boring bits, it would be much more bearable. But having them insist on complete attention while the bailiff calls -roll- [*yawn!*]

I wound up juroring(?) a 2-day trial involving someone's bankruptcy and their attempts to not pay back a company they were deeply in debt to.
We spent most of the 2 days going Zzzzzz.
