We went to the 'Outback' for dinner last night and I picked up food poisoning. I think it was a bad scallop.

SO SICK! My body -really- doesn't like to upchuck, so it takes something really bad to make me horf. Last night, I was throwing up until 5am and still feel like I was run over by a truck.

Gil_liant slept thru the first few bouts, but woke up around 4am. He was very helpful - but apparently I throw up in a humorous fashion. [shakes head]

Ugh, I'm so sorry! I really hope you're feeling better today. I've had food poisoning a grand total of once, and let me tell you, that was one time way, way too many.

No fun at all. Amusingly, I was talking to my mom [who called at 11am] and told her about it. Found out her worst ever food poisoning came from a dinner with scallops, too. Uck.

Eep! Food poisoning SUCKS!! *hugs* I hope you're feeling better, soon. I hate to throw up, too, and will do everything I can to avoid doing it. Sometimes, though, it's just more powerful than me. Bleah. *more hugs*

[nods] Yeah, I fought off throwing up for about 2 hours, then lost it. Ugh. I feel pretty bad and have a fever now [and body aches] - so it looks like the weird flu that keeps rebounding on me has set in again. Not a good week.

Pretty wretched, to be honest. I feel like I've been run over by a truck - and been out of bed [conscious and mobile for something -other- than a potty visit] for only 6 hours since Sunday night.

So what did I do while up? Had some chicken noodle soup - posted in LJ and read email. ^_^
