Mixed joys

The Sears guys should deliver the new stove between 4-7pm today. So I'll hafta be off the phone then, JIC. Plus have cleared out the amazing amount of -stuff- in the drawer of the old stove - and done supplimental cleaning for this reason. Along with actively doing laundry. I hope the new stove works well enough that I don't have to think about -it- or anything stove/oven related for the next decade. ^_^ At least it shouldn't start raining until -late- tonight, if at all. So -that's- a positive thing.

Good luck with getting the new stove in. Hope it works great!

Hey, thought you liked rainy days? You should be looking forward to the rain starting. *big grin*

New toys! What fun! Cook lots! Large metal objects make us happy!

We've just had a new appliance adventure, too. I bought the girls and myself a clothes dryer in January. We hadn't had one in....3 years, had been schlepping our stuff to the laundromat to dry it (I've got a washer; I'm not a total luddite.) Then Tory (the baby) had her clothes stolen....there is nothing sadder than a teenage girl who's just had her clothes stolen! ("My Vaudevile&Trash t-shirt! My Mudd Perfect Flares! MY PAJAMAS!") So, new appliance for us. I think I washed and dried every towel, sheet and blanket in the house, just because I could!

So, when you're finished running your hands over it and cooing , "My preciousssss...." break out the spaghetti pot and the frying pans and one-a-them big pans you cook turkeys in and have a blast!

Mmmmmm - speghetti goodness. Gotta do that soon.

Have done some egg breakies, broiled pork chops, lamb chops, baked cookies; boiled water. So it's working.
