Had a mixture of annoying & pleasant last few days.
Couldn't go to Reno [snow was forecast for Sunday for the Truckee pass]; so Trey & I went to the last spring training game for the Giants/A's at Oakland stadium. Perfect day for it & the game was great. I had an excellent time.
Get back home and my Kiki laptop [which has been acting flaky, as tho the battery is not charging] goes on then says it's on battery power and it goes dead almost instantly. Since this -had- been going on for about a week, I had <> that it was the power supply, had ordered a new power supply. Kiki doesn't work thru rest of weekend - and I am completely bummed. The one thing I want to do is play 'Planescape: Torment' and ... can't.
So time drags by. Monday occurs and I manage to get email via the Mac desktop

Get back home and my Kiki laptop [which has been acting flaky, as tho the battery is not charging] goes on then says it's on battery power and it goes dead almost instantly. Since this -had- been going on for about a week, I had <<on the chance>> that it was the power supply, had ordered a new power supply. Kiki doesn't work thru rest of weekend - and I am completely bummed. The one thing I want to do is play 'Planescape: Torment' and ... can't.
So time drags by. Monday occurs and I manage to get email via the Mac desktop <sighs = is not the easiest thing to do, but thankfully all but 4 were spam or tossable>. Of course, I can't -send- email out of that program, so I have to find a way to so do [hello gmail], cut/paste and grumble. And, just for grins and giggles, the Warren is down for the entire weekend, when I could've been distracting myself posting there. [sighs]
Then the mail arrives and the new power supply shows up! I try it out and that seems to do the trick. Laptop resurrection. So it's time for Planescape to eat my brain some more.
