don't women work at Apple?

For it's latest foray into evil, Apple unveiled the iTampon today ... erm ... that's the iPad.

And next year they'll release the bigger, badder version - the iMaxipad.

Yes, we do work at Apple. My team is about 1/3 female.

Honestly, no one's making bad jokes about the iLegalPad, so it seems more like personal hang-ups than the name itself. :)

... an illegal pad? I'd worry about the puns there, but not much more. ^_^

Can't say that interpretation occurred to me... but then I hate pads with a passion and haven't used 'em in years. :)

[giggles] Probably gives you TMI then about me. ^_^

Why would anyone make that connection rather than "notepad", "legal pad", or, even, "Come on over to my pad", "lilypad"?

Because in the 1st news blip that mentioned it, the camera showed the iPad with a mostly white screen showing and the reporter was going on about it ... followed by a Stayfree Maxi [with wings!] commercial and I swear the 2 product shots looked very similar.

Maybe it's just 'cause I'm a girl and in 'that' part of the month and am overly moody.

Well, you see, if they put wings on the iPad that would be a neat accessory. I could have it hover near me when I didn't want to hold it up. No need for giant pockets or a shoulderbag.
