Thank goodness the Giants won!
Nov. 2nd, 2010 12:44 amTerrifyingly tense game - but YAY! the Giants won the World Series! The Rangers jersey can be safely moved now. ^_^
[We have 5 loveable family members living in Arlington, TX, who were delighted that the Rangers had a shot at the Series for the 1st time ever. As the playoffs began, we each wished the other team well and promised to wear each -other's- team jersey should they meet in the World Series. So I got a Rangers' batting jersey - JIC. The Rangers' jersey was displayed in full view as the Giants beat the Phillies - and then I didn't move or touch it for the 1st 2 games of the Series. The Giants won. Trey put the Rangers' jersey on to get a photo taken to send them, thus moving it on Saturday - game 3, the game the Giants lost - and then it was put BACK where it had been and games 4 & 5 went to the Giants. Superstitous? You BET!]

Some of the strange superstitions...

There was loud applause and yelling that scared the other diners at Coco's Tonight. We were following the game on Ken and Gerry's iPads. Then we told them what happened and they all smiled, some cheered. The meeting was small and even the main room was slow. You would think people were watching a baseball game or something. :D
