Busy, busy

Yesterday was ... full. First, a 2 hour drive to Napa Valley [I'd never been there before]. Long drive with lots of traffic. In Napa went thru a 3 hour screening interview for a 'pain study' [on a new kind of treatment for post-herpetic neuralgia]. I was told I qualify, however it sounds like most of those they've screened have been females and they want more guys. So I might not get chosen. Then there was the 2 hour drive back with even more traffic. Thankfully the traffic maintained [mostly] fast speeds.

Sometimes frighteningly high speeds.

2 hours to decompress from that, then picked up gil_liant and went to BASFA. Very much fun meeting. Wendy Pini visited the club and she was entirely delightful and charming. Cute as a button, too. IMO she draws the best hair EVER, better than any artist I've ever seen [although Boticelli is comparable].

There's a lot of drawn/painted hair that looks nice or sexy or adorable - but Wendy's hair depictions look thick enough to grab hold of. The -texture- is incredible. It's phenominal!
