The whole team on the mound to throw out the 1st ball [Matt Cain representing the team]. Now -that's- classy! Pregame festivities have been lovely - the anthem sung really well. Then Brian Wilson taking the championship flag up to the pole! So nice - and I hope the Giants win and keep winning.

I almost feel like saying "Go Giants!" right now because I'm so bummed about what happened to Giants fan John Stow in the Dodger Stadium parking lot... I feel like I need to atone somehow.

(Also, I appreciate good baseball, when it comes down to it... I don't think I'd better tell any Dodger fans, but I love good pitching and could enjoy the Giants' win last year in a strange bittersweet way).

But what i actually came here to tell you is that owlmoose is a Giants fan, too. I made her Lincecum icon. :)

Ooooo! I love the Freak! He has that almost unjointed way of pitching that makes it nigh impossible to figure out -what- the heck he's throwing. Wild!

I dream of seeing a pitching staff with all quirky deliveries and watching the batters have a nervous breakdown. Lincecum as the ace, of course, but we should have a time machine so we can pick up Nomo in his prime (he did this bizarre corkscrew wind up), my buddy Takashi Saito for closer who has a strange Tai Chi like delivery that seems to mesmerize batters like shining a flashlight in a frog's eyes, and...oh, who else. Anyway, yeah. Lincecum doesn't pitch from the stretch; he practically pitches from the backflip. I hate it when my team has to play against him, but I can respect and enjoy his mad skillz. :)
