Finished 2 games

Finished SMT 'Nocturne' last night [PS2, cycle 3, true demon ending]. The magatoma skill 'Freikugel' - along with pierce - are AWESOME and did tons of damage. For the end boss, then the Lucifer fight it's suggested to have all stats at 40 & be level 99, but my main character was only level 86 [with L88 Dante, L99 Metatraton & L96 Vishnu]. Nigh unto flawless victory.

THEN, I did the finale for SMT 'Devil Survivor' [DS; 1st play thru] - with the 'Song of Hope'/Haru ending and that was quite difficult. My main character was level 66 for the final boss fight. Rough - but the ending scenes were lovely.

Then back to 'Fallout 3' [xbox360] and finished the 'Wasteland Survival Guide' mission set. All in all it was a very 'gamey' day. ^_^

I couldn't get through Nocturne. So much grinding and point-to-point, so little roleplay. And it didn't look like things were going well for Our Hero if I followed the path that seemed obvious.

For some reason Nocturne was almost effortless for me to play. I didn't spend a lot of time churning [which is why he was pnly L86 at the last fight] - and used 'estoma' to keep the monsters off rather a lot. If you go everywhere [and backtrack thru the teleporter to shop] - monsters are going to beg to give you their XP. ^_^

The 'true demon' ending has your guy fully turn into a demon & lead the assault on heaven.

However there is an ending that is almost better IMO - where your guy does almost -everything- [he doesn't finish the 5th kalpa] and after beating the other 3 reasons [silence, apathy & strength - which are other game endings] - he promotes his teacher's path and recreates the world - negating its destruction.
