Made it through another year. Hurrah for Hallowe'en birthdays! As the 'wwekend of my birthday, observed' finishes up, I got a chance to play in 2 tabletop games [4th ed D&D, then 2nd ed D&D], went to a fun party and will be going to BASFA tonight. So it's been a weekend full of events

If the vacuum had died at the -end- of the cleaning, rather than at the beginning, I'd-a been much happier with its demise.

Death of vacuum cleaners always happens at an annoying time.
But one really doesn't want to spend the "For Something Special on my Birthday" money on a new vacuum. That is like giving ones mother a vacuum cleaner for Mother's Day. Ugh.
