melcharSpent 3 hours in the Kaiser emergency room yesterday. Gil_liant was in pain that greatly increased - he believed it to be from a kidney stone. Took him in at 6pm, got processed and him set up for a CAT scan but right before then, he goes to the bathroom with 'the strainer' and passes a stone. A very large stone [the doctor said it was the size of 3 grains of rice ... and was very impressed]. So with that out & most of the pain now gone, it was decided that the CAT scan was not needed - and we were out of there by 9pm. Stressful? You betcha. I'm glad the problem ... passed.
