I am beyond shocked

Just heard the news that City of Heroes is being shut down by NCSoft by the end of the year. I am beyond boggled that my favorite mmo is going to be gone. It's a complete WTF to me.

At least I have SWTOR as a fall-back, but for crying out loud I'm going to lose a bunch of characters I really enjoyed!
