the weekend in review

melcharThe weekend was quite pleasant, overall. Most of it was too hot. Blarg. Got to play in the Friday Pathfinder game and made progress. Our characters survived, did a treasure split and we're about 10K away from level 9. Win.
Saturday was a 'no-tabletop-game' day - and also way too hot. We went to see 'Edge of Tomorrow' and then out to the Outback with gaming chums and had a good time. 'Edge of Tomorrow' was much better than I expected and had the delightful feature of getting to watch Tom Cruise get killed again and again and again. ^_^ It's one of the movies he's been in that I -really- liked his acting job. Recommended. [Another rec'd Tom Cruise movie IMO is 'Collateral'.]
Sunday was another 'no-tabletop-game' day and was very pleasant and laid back. Temperature down to tolerable. Most of the day - and bits and pieces of the other 2 days as well - were filled with SWTOR in which I had a ton of fun.
