More dental woes

My face hurts = dental work done today, #3 in a series. #1 was a difficult upper back molar filling. #2 was a crown. This is #3, the extraction/implant - & #4 will be either another crown ... hopefully - and not another extraction.

🦷 So I hurt like heck. The dental surgeon got the lower right molar out and there was enough bone that an implant base could be screwed in immediately - instead of in 3 months - ... after a hole was drilled into the bone 🙀

One of her assistants had to hold up / support my lower jaw against the downward pressure of the drilling - which rattled my whole head and made everything ache. It hurt. After all, only the lower right jaw could get the lidocaine. And it still all hurts.

Now I'm bruising up all around the lower right side of my jaw. I've still got gauze packed into the gums / capped screw site because it's still seeping blood. 😿 And the ends of the sutures are WAY annoying where they poke out from where the stitches were done

But once again, I wish that pain meds worked on me, because I do hurt like all heck.

Thankfully a week's passage has reduced the pain a lot & the swelling has gone away.
