pretty nice day

Not a bad day - did chores; disassembled 4 of the 12 home-grown pomegranites that mom sent me. [very neatly; no splash and lots of yummy seeds for later eating]. This is a relief, considering the box arrived in -very- bad shape.

Sent out a reminder about the Sunday Agris game. Did more game posting on the Warren. And am going out for dinner. So it's a good day.

[nods] The tree in my mom's back yard makes nice/tart about softball-sized pomegranites - and they ripen just around this time of year so it's a perfect birthday yummy.

Actually my birthday is today = Hallowe'en [which my parents always referred to when they tried to explain why I turned out 'so weird'] ^_^

hehehe Well, I hope your b-day was super terrifically great! I wasn't born on Hallowe'en, but I still turned out weird. My parents had no excuse for it. Personally, I think it was because they probably so wanted me to turn out "normal" that I came out odd just to spite them. (~-^)

[nods] Yummy fruit! However, I must be too anal to properly appreciate them. I tend to take them apart neatly and avoid stain [although the reference to 'Dune' is adorable - and I will have to mention it [because 'the lips aquire stain' Mentat credo is frequently mis-quoted at our science fiction club]].
