I -really- don't want him to be in pain
May. 5th, 2005 04:12 amSo it's been the hop-along adventures of the limping pair! Trey may have a [my guess and supported by the pain] repetative-stress ankle injury. He stumbled a bit a few days ago, continued to 'DDR' for a few days and then yesterday morning had incredible pain in the ankle and top-of-the-foot region. So he didn't go into work.
Calls were made to Kaiser. He didn't want to go in -that- day. Various care taken of it at home and errands run. On the way back, I managed to twist -my- ankle in the Safeway parking lot. So now I'm limping too.
Then at midnight the pain wakes Trey up and we go in to Kaiser to have it Xray'd. Sat around till 4am until he was seen. [no -really- obvious break] So he is issued crutches, the Xrays are passed on to the experts [who will examine and hopefully get back to his doctor and then us by Monday] - and we hobbled back home to collapse in bed at 6am.
Of -course- that means we get 3 phone calls between 8am and 11am. [sighs] AND Trey has an owie tooth so we take him over to the dentist for a 2pm appointment. Turns out he has a cracked tooth that will need a crown [another app't for next month there].
So it's been REAL 'fun' here the last 2 days.
