Amused and Impressed
Apr. 27th, 2009 04:01 pmWent [as in, 'was dragged off, barely willing'] to see 'Dragonball Evolution' and ... I enjoyed it. Not the best film, but it was fun to watch. I even -liked- Goku - instead of wanting to see the cr@p beat out of him.
What was -impressive- tho was that, as the very end credits rolled - after the cookie** - boojum and gil_liant expressed in about 2 minutes between them - the full plot for the 1st 4 seasons of the original - in a way that made it coherent. [explaining a number of things to me, who have only seen about half the 1st 2 years in the English translation -only- ... and to shadowcatt_x]. THAT was impressive!
