It's nearly here. FurCon 06 will be here and gone by this time next week. Then I shall be 'free at last - free at last, good gosh almighty - free at last'! ^_^
How odd that doing Events is such a time-draining hassle this year when I -know- what I'm doing, as compared to last year when it was all new, but comparitively easier.
FurCon being over will definately HELP free up gaming time for me again. Whew! [although I will be doing GoH liason next year]

Date: 2006-01-18 01:28 am (UTC)Gaming is the section just in charge of ... well ... gaming [Dungeons and Dragons, Dragonstorm, computers games, Dance Dance Revolution, kariaoke and even card games - for example there is a Cribbage tournament on Sunday this year]
Events is the person in charge of Gaming and all the other 'tracks' of programming - and the person who actually puts panels and events on the schedule and is the person who gets blamed if any of the 122 panels/other events go wrong.
'GoH liason' is the Guest of Honor liason - and their responsibility is the 2 or 3 people chosen as special guests who get 12 or 20 events scheduled around just them - and their writing or art; so it's a much less stressful position. [Well, as long as the guests are pleasant.]
