Getting Shiny

So Paul loaned me the 'Firefly' DVDs a couple months ago. I warned him that I am a flake and it would take a while for me to get around to watching them. [background = never saw the series, loved the movie, have seen 3 eps at FC 06 & enjoyed them]

Finally have watched them and -really- did enjoy them, watched the commentary tracks and wish all the eps had one. Pity it didn't make it. [but then, I never got into B5 until halfway thru the 2nd season - then -really- got into it, too.]

Yeah, gridlore and I missed the memo on Firefly too. (We're awfully bad about that, really - XFiles, B5, SG1...of course, in that last case it was a question of "The movie was damnably thin on the ground in spots, how can they sustain it? And without the original actors?!")
