if it's Tuesday, it must be chaotic

Two days before FC '07 starts and tension is racheting up. The writer GoH calls this morning to say he needs to fly [not drive, as was planned] to the con because of anticipated icy road conditions. So I spent 3.5 hours getting the info needed to do this - and booked the plane and limo reservations.

And then there's the musical guests ... driving in from Oklahoma. Oklahoma that lovely state under a state of emergency from a solid week's ice storm - where most major roads may not even be open until tonight. I have visions of them and their truck ending up in a snowbank.

I sure HOPE everyone gets here okay, but ...

I anticipate that will be at about 7pm Thursday [when the SL3 guys phone to say they are stuck in a snowbank in Nevada].
