Open Office hurrah!

I have installed Open Office on Kiki [the hyperactive laptop] and it appears to be running just fine. Yay! [thank you so much Genevive!]

This replaces Word 97 - which is crashing just about every time it is used now. [naughty folks - to put in an expiry date. THEN have your 'help' page just say to buy the latest version and not offer any kind of upgrade discount.]

So you are familiar with Open Office? [she asked hopefully] If so, do you know how I can change the page number in a document? [I like to break up a novel into chunks and I found that 'field' allows the setting of a page number, but that only works for [example] page 1-50. If I do document 2 that I want to start at page 51, how do I do that?]

Familiar with it, but not pro. I use it for the infrequent times I need to work on a Word document, and then I wind up in UltraEdit with it in text shortly thereafter. :)
