Play a couple of hours of 'Bioshock' last night. Had sudden empathy for Ethan [of Ctrl-Alt-Del] because it was a case of 'where did those hours go'?

Haven't died yet in the game [but it's only a matter of time]. Had a scary bit when the lights went out and a mob jumped me in the dark. [yay shotgun!] Scariest bit was turning around to see a guy RIGHT behind me [bang! goes Mr Shotgun]

Most annoying part was looking for the TK plasmid. Of course, I was searching the -mortuary- for it ... and only realized after a frustrating time that the dentist's office was over -> that-a-way.

Haven't found a little sister yet [except for the one staged scene].

Really gorgeous game. Wish they let you stock up on more than 9/each of the first aid kits and Eve injectors. ... and why do I keep finding bandages and snack JUST -after- getting back to full health?

I have one thing to say.... one word, and it's the BEST thing about this game....

I need to go back and finish up BioShock. The Ayn Rand starts getting a bit thick after a while though, so I needed to step back for a bit. Visually and atmospherically, it's a gorgeous game.

It's kind of cool to see the 'capitalism taken to its absolute extreme' philosophy played with. Very different culture and just helps to make the setting different.
