Ever had one of those days where it doesn't seem like you've done much, and yet the day is gone? So I go to the Post [Awful] - take the PSP & play a full fight [45 minutes], assign new skills, re-equip and STILL am in line. It took a full hour - and the -bad- part was there were less then 2 dozen people ahead of me, being helped by 2 clerks. And it wasn't the clerks who were slow.

That took till 1:30pm. I get home, call Kaiser about the lump under my left ear that hasn't gone away - and they say I can see my primary care doctor at 3:30. Great. Spend an hour at home and then go to the doctor. Very fast. I read 2 pages [-maybe- 3 minutes waiting] & was called in, checked out - it may be an infected gland. I get a prescription for a 10-day course of antibiotics & it's filled downstairs. I'm back home by 4:15. But ... where has the day gone?

**So -then- I go to BASFA. An okay meeting, but on the way home I get about 30 seconds warning that I'm going to heave. This is barely enough time to get down an offramp [880/1st street] - but no further. I stop the car, hit the emergency flashers as I open the door and projectile vomit on the street [still seat-belted in]. Multiple heaves. Ugh. The -good- parts are that the truck behind me is an off-duty cop who parks his truck behind me & directs traffic around while I am to do more than spew - and that my lovely shawl gets soiled, but it kept my dress, purse, seat belt and the rest of the car safe from spew. While it rained. Most ucky.**
