Back and online again

melchar400 miles driven; am now back home. Yay! It took only 7 hours to drive home with light traffic and 3 brief stops made. Good Prius. There were high winds everywhere there were hills & mountains - and thick FOG at the Tejon summit and then all the way downhill to Grapevine.
I let gil_liant borrow my PSP and he played 'FF Tactics, war of the lions' 95% of the drive home.
Once home, found that Dusty left a lot of barfy-stuff here and there. It took a while to clean up. [The lady downstairs feeds her and mostly picked up the big chunks, but week-old stains needed help.] So I did that first.
Then I went thru the various bags to stow the new stuff, threw out some old stuff, unpacked the suitcases, unpacked the food bags, sorted mail - then made dinner. ^_^ Finally got online and found 450 emails to load - via dial-up, of course & caught up on web-comics and LJ.
