So no one died on 'Super Tuesday'. It's getting closer to Hilary's coronation as presidential candidate [as proclaimed by the media - regardless of delegate count] - and thus it is closer to the election wherein the repulsive Republicans win the White House again.

[sighs] And the pundits are going on about a McCain/Huckleberry** ticket. Not -just- repulsive, but an actively scary ticket.

**'Huckleberry' is what -I- call him.

In an attempt to mollify social conservatives, Huck Finn will be the Republican VP nominee, causing the ticket to implode. McCain is old enough that concerns over his health will cause people to look seriously at his running mate and the majority of supporters of McCain Cannot support Finn.

Whoever the Dem nominee is, neither Obama or Clinton will be their VP nominee. They may like each other off-stage [may], but neither could stand to be second fiddle to the other. But if Clinton gets it, she'll pick someone who will not likely run in eight years, allowing Obama his chance at it.

Obama mike pick Edwards, but that's a bit of a long shot. More likely is Biden or Dodd.

They need Richardson for the VP ticket. He's Hispanic and that may help carry the day in Texas and Florida [they need more than CA, NJ, NY and IL to a win].

Plus, he's a governor and that plays well in middle America when they look at a senator hoping to be president.

... but I still fear we are doomed. [so VERY depressed]

Obama might take Richardson, and he could definitely help a lot there. I'm not sure Clinton could do that - he was too much a part of Bill's administration. She's gotta pick someone "new". And her camp is too good to not know that.

...and thus she is doomed to lose. This is a huge pity, since another batch of elephants in the White House will insure disaster for the nation.
