Puttering around the cave

melcharSpent money to help improve the cave. Ordered a new stove that should be delivered Thursday and should actually _work_. Got some new pot-holders (that won't let me be burned when using them) and matching kitchen towels. They look nice. They even vaguely match the kitchen wallpaper. Scary. Got a tea kettle for heating water. (Got tired of using the microwave to heat up 3 cups of water - where it takes 7+ minutes. The kettle heated 3 cups of water in less than 4 minutes.)
Had a delivery at the door: a marble mortal & pestle bought over Ebay with which I'll be able to grind the kitty kibble into kitty dust that she _might_ not barf back up so often. Good price on it - and it looks good, too. I'll be able to grind the glucosimine & condrotin tablets I've been feeding her. So that's a good thing.
The week looks sort of busy - and the weekend to come looks like fun. There's a movie night on Friday night & Matt/Kim's party on Saturday. That looks like LOTS of fun!
