more Mass Effect

Still playing 'Mass Effect' and having a lot of fun. My guy is level 21 and zooming around the galaxy. Star travel is SO well done IMO. Exploring the various [non-direct plotline] worlds is tons of fun. I love driving the Mako and shooting at things from extreme distance.

But I have been finding things on these worlds that are mentioned NO WHERE else. I look at the 'helps' so as not to miss things. Well, I keep finding new things. Like the 2 different batches of extra turrets on Luna! A whole thresher maw & abandoned camp [same place] on Mavigon. Things like that.

So of course NOW I'm obsessing that there are yet other things that I'm -missing-. [shakes head at obsessive-self.]

Ohh neat what game is this? what game system???? I soo want a good space game. Not necessarily a lengthy RPG like final fantacy.

"Mass Effect" was originally released for the XBox 360. I believe there is now a PC version available, with some significant improvements in some of the user-interface aspects to take advantage of the availability of mouse and keyboard.

And it is a lot like a lengthy RPG, much like Final Fantasy or KotOR. Not quite so much of a shoot-em-up as Bioshock, though there are some elements of that.
