Can has healthy teeth plz?

melcharAm in pain. I have an abscess in an inconvenient location [top left furthest back molar] that had a root canal done unto it 4 years ago. The entire left side of my face feels like the aftermath of being hit in the face with a bat. Hurts to talk - and chew.
Spent all day going from dentist to endodontic [root canal] specialist - to finding out that all 3 of the maxillofacial [jaw] surgeons he recommends are out of office and won't be back till Monday. At least I could make an appointment with 1 of them for 7am Monday. [The other 2 offices were completely closed already.]
Only things I really got accomplished today in driving about to different offices was the confirmation that 'yep, it's an abscess all right', Xrays to take the the jaw guy Monday & the prescription for antibiotics. [sighs]

Date: 2008-06-13 09:40 pm (UTC)Found out I am pretty much immune to the analgesic effects of pain killers [O -that's- SO much fun] - although astringent & anti-swelling effects still work - which can reduce pain. But is just not the same. So I pretty much have to suck up the 'ow'.
