Face hurts less and I can almost talk like a normal person again. I'm on the antibiotics [for another week] & still using a cold pack on face when sleep, as it's still a bit swollen. It helps a little.
Part of one of 2 stitches came loose at one end, so I teased them both out. That felt better, when they were out of there. Peroxide and a salt water rinse for another 2 days.
Also -- weather = gah! 102 degrees today, maybe hotter tomorrow. I go melty now.

Date: 2008-06-21 07:00 pm (UTC)It's been warming up here too - mid to high 80s in COS, 90s just south, but haven't broken the century mark close here yet at least.
Luckily, it still cools off nicely at night, so we can open all the windows and put up the window fans and build up a nice cool bank in the house to help out the next day. The new windows help too - keeping the daytime heat out much better than the old, with the new insulation and the protective film on them.
There's a distinct possibility wuff will be out your way starting next friday (27th). Depending whether certain clearance stuff get finished on time. It if comes off, will be there thru the holiday and heading home the Sunday following (6th).
Will keep you updated!
