Too little time online

melcharBrief posting from the land of Southern California. Observation: people here drive much better than folks in the Bay Area [and even use their blinkers most've the time]. Missing home - worried about the 15 yr old kitty. Family is being pleasant [whew].
Finished 'Luminous Arc' [DS = pleasant game = pretty, but in the end a bit lacking in depth];
Played more 'Brave Story [PSP = very lovely and the story is fairly good. The visuals are stunning ... but the battle music for normal encounters get tedious after a while].
So am currently playing 'FF Ring of Fates' [DS = fluffy plot, decent game - but there should REALLY be more save points in the dungeons. Ack = 2 hours between saves is BAD. Plus, as you accumulate more PCs, just letting some of them die in boss fights makes sense: keep Yuri & Al alive, ignore the other 2 or their management will get you killed. I tend to euip Yuri with healing - let Al have whatever mana there is the most of and attack HTH with Yuri. Haven't lost yet. Came close. The intra-dungeon maps could also be a bit more detailed, too ^_^].
