Too little time online

Brief posting from the land of Southern California. Observation: people here drive much better than folks in the Bay Area [and even use their blinkers most've the time]. Missing home - worried about the 15 yr old kitty. Family is being pleasant [whew].

Finished 'Luminous Arc' [DS = pleasant game = pretty, but in the end a bit lacking in depth];

Played more 'Brave Story [PSP = very lovely and the story is fairly good. The visuals are stunning ... but the battle music for normal encounters get tedious after a while].

So am currently playing 'FF Ring of Fates' [DS = fluffy plot, decent game - but there should REALLY be more save points in the dungeons. Ack = 2 hours between saves is BAD. Plus, as you accumulate more PCs, just letting some of them die in boss fights makes sense: keep Yuri & Al alive, ignore the other 2 or their management will get you killed. I tend to euip Yuri with healing - let Al have whatever mana there is the most of and attack HTH with Yuri. Haven't lost yet. Came close. The intra-dungeon maps could also be a bit more detailed, too ^_^].

I'm glad you're having what sounds like a decent time, and I hear you on missing kitties when you're gone!

Still haven't gotten Brave Story, plz don't hurt me.

I absolutely concur with the Ring of Fates save point issue -- knowing I'd need to set aside 2-3 hours for ONE dungeon that I couldn't interrupt drove me crazy. It's a really spiffy game, though. I love the way Al talks, wholeheartedly.

Agreeing with you in matters related to Al uncatageorical ^_^ I spent 2.5 hours this afternoon [thanfully all 'us kids' were playing on something - as I puttered along with FF - Halo was much in evidence elsewhere in the room ^_^ - so I had the time to wander around in the Hades dungeon, find a way to open up a route -back- to the origiinal save point [and moogle shop] - and do equipment upgrades. But really. [shakes head]. I -did- find Meeth's alchemy pot vital [making cure magicites] - and learned I could keep another 8 pre-made in the pot for emergencies. [Other than that Meeth is pretty much the least used character.]
