The head cold is slowly passing. Emphasis slowly.
Am further along in 'Star Ocean 3'. I had the -worst- time getting past the flute-operated door. And the 2-different tune and 3-different tune doors just stopped me dead. I appealed to my sweetsie and showed him how to do the button presses and he got me past them. [I was totally reversing 2 of the tunes.] He is my hero!
I did start and play a little of Fable 2. Interesting - but WHY is there only 1 save slot for the game? What I -want- to try is 2 games [nice girl, bad guy] and contrast the play as I go along. Is there some way to do this I'm not seeing?
... and Fallout 3 is SO on my xmas list! Several of my weekend table players are happily going around in that game and it sounds wonderful!

... anyway... for the fable 2 save issue, each character you make has their own save. so if you make a new character and save he has his own save spot and wont take up the first characters save spot. each character can only have one save though.
completely random person out >_>'
oh and fallout is pretty cool...

Date: 2008-11-12 10:41 pm (UTC)I figured it out [by accident] last night - and had a real weird time of it. But after games that advise having multiple saves for 1 game [just in case the game save eats itself] - having only the one save is kind of spooky.
