Hamlet is one of my favorite 5 *ever* plays and Arclight is going to do a production of it on Sunday, Feb 15 at 2pm. I sent in a rsvp for 2 seats and hope it's wonderful! Arclight is doing this for free admission [although donations are appreciated].

For those interested, their email is - arclightrep@gmail.com and their website is = http://arclightrep.art.officelive.com/default.aspx

Gotta love a play where in the end EVERYONE dies. :-)

My all time Shakespeare fave is The Taming of the Shrew, followed by A Midsummer Night's Dream and MacBeth. I love Shakespeare's comedies, but I'm not such a big fan of the historicals. His tragedies are epic, though.

Top 5 favorite plays:
1. Rocky Horror Picture Show (yes, it was a stage play first)
2. The Taming of the Shrew
3. The Pirates of Penzance
4. A Midsummer Night's Dream
5. Hamlet

Heh heh - yeah, that's part of it all right. ['a Shakespearean tragedy is strewn with rushes in the 1st act and bodies in the 3rd'.]

My 5 favorites are: Hamlet, Pirates of Penzance, Noises Off, As You Like It, and The Front Page.
