Best weekend! Started by seeing 'Watchmen' [excellent; go see it]

On Saturday, boojum had 5 nice gaming computers set up in 'Ye Gaming Garage' and 5 of us played 'City of Heroes' [boojum, shadowcatt_x, gil_liant, genevive and myself - along with vrghr over in CO] - for about 12 hours. SO much fun!

Then I reffed Agris on Sunday and it was also a fun game - lots of laughs and hijinks [along with shopping ^_^]. One heckuva weekend.

I had a great time joining up with all of you from here in CO Springs. That was a great gaming session! We've got to do that again one day.

Didn't hurt that we managed to pick up a pretty good teammate or few throughout the session, to help round out the 8 person teams. Those poor heroes; wonder what they were thinking about such a crazy team that they'd managed to get linked up with? *chuckles* Our last partner seemed to fit in very well.

I got out to Watchman on Sunday. Wow! Impressive film, though certainly not the continuous action/adventure some folks thought it was going to be.

They sure weren't shy about earning their "R" rating either. There were a few "parental units" in our IMAX showing who were liable to need a bit of conversation with the passel of sub-teen children they'd brought along once that film ended. Hope they feel just as embarrassed as they should about bringing such young kids to a rather inappropriate movie, but they'll probably blame the studio instead of their own deficient parenting skills.
