Loving my DSL

Way back in the loooong years of having dial-up, I heard about direct2drive.com - and thought it was a great idea. Never used it ... because I had dial-up.

So a few days ago nobarking mentioned them - and that they were having a 5 year anniversary sale. Hmmm. ^_^ So I went there and was reminded again about how nifty the site was. This time tho, I took advantage of their $5 sale and bought 3 games: Bioshock, Civilization 4 and Riddick, Dark Athena - and have spent the last 3 days downloading them. How neat is that?

Hooray! It's so nice to be able to actually use the net for useful things, hah.

Steam is another big favourite of mine, you do have to launch stuff through their little shell, but every weekend they tend to toss good stuff up on sale.

GAMES FOR EVERYONE!

Although with those games people may not see you for a while. ;)

There are times I would like to disappear into console/PC gaming for a few weeks, but my gamers would drag me bodily away and make me ref for them. Alas, that is the punishment for being a good ref. ^_^

... I have very good players.
